If in-and-out is your goal, Kingsland Chamber members Buddies 1-Stop, Dairy Queen and Subway are open for business. Craving something sweet? You can’t beat the homemade pies at Bluebonnet Café or Crazy Gals Café. The best coffee and cold drinks await you at the Lazy Heron and the Thirsty Armadillo.

The Hill Country is known for its abundance of wineries and the Highland Lakes do not disappoint! From Bertram to Buchanan Dam to Burnet, visits to Decadent Saint Winery, Torr Na Lochs, Perissos and Uplift Vineyards promise memorable tasting of Texas’ finest wines, live music and incredible views. Cold beers and local wines are close at hand at Triple C Beverage Barn drive-through and on tap at many Kingsland restaurant menus. Taste it all this October!

“Kingsland has a diverse, laid-back nightlife with a little something for everyone. We visited Boat Town Burger Bar and Wakepoint on Lake LBJ, accessible by boat or car, and we sat on the outdoor decks and enjoyed an ice-cold beverage and the lake breeze while listening to live music and observing the boating activities on the water. We caught stunning scenic views and a sunset over Buchanan Dam on Inks Lake at Reverend Jim’s Dam Pub, and we took in an Astros game at Pat’s over a bucket of beer.”
